Overview
You can now apply tags to subcase line items directly from the parent case. This feature enables broker-dealers to track, organize, and annotate work performed across multiple service providers, all within the parent case.
Each tag is recorded with an audit history, so changes are always transparent and traceable.
What’s New
- View subcase line items from within the parent case (no need to open each subcase).
- Apply tags to individual subcase line items to categorize or flag them.
- Add comments for internal notes or context.
- Audit history tracks every change to a tag or comment, showing who made the change and when.
Where to Find It
In the Edit Case screen of a broker-owned (parent) case:
- Scroll down to the Service Providers tab.
- Below each listed subcase, you’ll now see its estimate line items.
- Use the Tags column to apply or update tags.
- Use the Comments field for notes or internal context.
- All changes are saved automatically and logged in the background.
Why Use Tags?
- Classify line items (“Approved,” “Disputed," etc.).
- Quickly filter or scan for specific types of charges.
- Maintain consistent review processes across subcases.
- Reduce the need for external documentation or email follow-ups.
