Overview
The New Administrative Tools page allows administrators to manage and configure the features of the Mobile Check-In site. As we developed the ability to export cases to Repair Orders (RO) from the Mobile Check-In site, we recognized the importance of customizing settings based on location. We understand that not all locations may want their technicians—the primary users of this site—to have access to export cases from the Mobile Check-In platform.
The updates made to the Mobile Check-In feature significantly enhance administrators' management experience and improve technicians' overall functionality. By following the steps outlined in this guide, administrators can efficiently manage Mobile Check-In settings and effectively support their teams.
New Administrative Tools page
Overview
Use cases for the Mobile Check-In site are expanding, as there is a growing focus on a mobile interface for on-site maintenance. We have extended the export Case to RO functionality to accommodate those who utilize the Mobile Check-In site. These updates are designed to streamline the mobile service process, ensuring improved efficiency, compliance, and better communication of export statuses.
Export Case to RO
We added an RO field to display the Case Export Status and changed the color of the grouped buttons at the bottom of the page from yellow to gray.
Based on preferences set on the New Mobile Check-In Admin Page, when the "Export to RO" option is enabled, the new yellow "Export Case" button will display below the grouped buttons to initiate the RO export integration.
After clicking the Export Case button, the Exporting Case to RO pop-up will show a loading state indicating the export is in progress.
Clicking the CLOSE button will close the pop-up and update the RO field to display the same message as in the modal to keep them in sync.
Export Scheduled: Displays white the case is exporting with a clock icon | Export Failed: Displays with a warning triangle icon and the last exported date and time in the format "m/dd/yyyy at hh:mm am/pm" | Export Successful: Displays with a icon and the last exported date and time in the format "m/dd/yyyy at hh:mm am/pm" |
