Overview
Prompt communication of essential safety recalls and recommended maintenance items is crucial for considering the customers' best interests, maximizing current downtime, and ultimately reducing future downtime. When cases are created, service providers will be prompted to consider adding these items to the current repair event.

Recommended Operations
Fault Follow-Up Operations: | If applicable, specific integration allowing pre-defined remote diagnostic (RD) faults to trigger a related operation assignment to the asset. |
Fleet Recommendations: | Fleet-specific inspections, compliance checks, etc. |
Scheduled Maintenance: | Fleet-defined scheduled maintenance. |
Service Provider Recommendations: | Service provide's specific or OEM-certified service process. |
Check-In/Inspections: | Best practices around check-in procedures or courtesy inspections. |
Promotions: | Recommended operations tied to specials or promotional campaigns. |
Deferred Operations: | Repairs that have been deferred from previous estimates, to be considered at a later date. |

Administration
Add
- As an administrator, enter the location you wish to configure.
- On the top navigation bar, click Admin.
- Select Customize Your Database.
- In the Service Customization section, click Recommended Operations.
- In the Add Recommended Operation field, type the desired operation's Name or Builder Operation Code.
- After entering three characters, a list of results that contain your search criteria will be displayed and will continue to filter as more characters are typed.
- Locate the desired operation and click the +ADD button.
- Once added, a success banner will appear, and this operation will be displayed in the table above.
Remove
- To remove an operation from the Recommended Operations list, click Delete from the ACTIONS column of the desired operation.

Alert Preferences and Notifications
Pop-up
Case Creation
When creating a new case based on the default alert preferences defined below, a pop-up will appear granting access to the following items if applicable.
- Campaigns & Recalls
- Recommended Operations
- Warranty & Extended Coverage
- Service Contracts & Subscriptions
Each option will present relevant operations when available that can be added to the case for the specific asset.

Operations can be added individually, or to add all operations of a specific type, click the ADD ALL button at the top right of each desired section.
Operations with Related Operations will display a SHOW RELATED OPERATIONS button. When clicked, this link expands to show the list of operations related to this operation.
Viewing a Case
Notifications
According to the default alert preferences mentioned earlier, a notification will appear for Campaigns and Recalls and Recommended Operations. This notification will remain visible each time the page for this case is refreshed or accessed until at least one operation has been added to this case or until all operations have been added to another case for this asset.
Each notification will have a VIEW button, which opens the corresponding pop-up.
Left Navigation
In addition to the pop-up window and notifications at the top right of the page, links to open this pop-up can be found on the Left Navigation bar under the RECOMMENDED section and below the operations table. When only one or neither is applicable, the respective link(s) are disabled.

Operations Table
For those locations that are part of the Operations Pilot, links to open this pop-up can be found on the empty state of the New Operations table, as well as above the table with the same behavior as the Left Navigation links, when only one or neither is applicable, the respective link(s) are disabled.
Administration
Administrators can modify these alert preferences in the Alert Preferences section of the Recommended Operations, Campaigns & Recalls Admin page.

Default Settings
- When a case is created show: Pop-up window
- When viewing a case, show a notification if there are campaigns & recalls available, until: At least one campaign or recall operation is added to the case
- When viewing a case, show a notification if there are recommended operations available, until: At least one recommended operation is added to the case
