Asset in Service Renamed to Asset Released:
We are renaming the "Asset In Service" QAB to "Asset Released" based on feedback and to help align it better with both existing and new features, such as Case Timeline and Case Assistant. The "Asset In Service" QAB, located at the top of the screen, will soon be updated to "Asset Released." Additionally, the "Asset In Service" status will also be changed to "Asset Released."
Fleet Inspections Tab:
The Viewing Case screen for Fleet users will soon include a new tab called Inspections, which will display all completed inspections for that case. Inspections will be visible to Fleet users only if they are associated with operations that have been shared with the Fleet/Customer as part of a versioned estimate (and if the inspection is complete).
Fleet users can click on the inspection name link to view the completed inspection on-screen. This display is similar to how inspections were previously shown in the estimate detail section at the top of the Viewing Case screen. Users can also select the PDF button to obtain a PDF version of the inspection.
User Access Enhancements for Dealer Admins:
Admin users will now have a more streamlined process for adding or removing access. Additionally, we've improved the Associated Locations admin screen to offer more comprehensive information about user-location details, making it easier to manage and understand access levels.
Admin users can view current and past locations, remove users from locations, and restore access all from the Associated Locations screen.
Karmak - Parts Search:
Providers often spend significant time searching for parts because some integrations require precise part specifications to return valid matches. Karmak offers a fuzzy search for parts through its API, allowing users to perform partial searches. This enhancement will display a modal with the search results for parts, enabling providers to select a part of their choice. Once the part is selected, it will be added to the operation.
Karmak - Related RO's:
Service providers currently have the ability to generate additional repair orders (ROs) from within an existing RO in the dealer management system (DMS). This allows them to bill repair line items separately and select an alternate billing account for warranty items. However, when a new RO is created in this way, it is no longer visible from the originating case or RO.
The Related RO enhancement provides the means to retrieve related RO information from the DMS and populate the case accordingly.
Phillips Three-Minute Back-of-Cab Inspection:
We are excited to provide you with the details of our partnership with Phillips to offer digital inspections. The 3-minute inspection consists of seven lines and helps to ensure that all back of cab hoses, connections, and tubing are in working order.
Incorporating paperless inspections into your process produces clear and concise results, enables you to directly link photos, and is always available in the asset history.
