Bi-Directional Mobile Communications Launch Re-Scheduled to April 8th
The launch originally scheduled for March 26th has been re-scheduled for April 8th. As previously noted, the bi-directional mobile communications features include:
- better ways to manage customer contacts, including mobile phone only contacts
- the ability for dealers and customers to reply to case notifications and notes via SMS text or a mobile user interface, as well as to send notes to a case
- the ability for dealers and customers to be able to see the current list of cases in the mobile user interface
- the ability for customers to approve estimates at the line item level via the mobile user interface

Fixes
This release included the following fix:
- CDK DMS integration - Price code from CDK updates after labor inquiry
- DSI DMS integration - corrected situations where unit number was not exporting correctly to DSI
Enhancements
This release included the following enhancements.
- Improved visibility of Open Cases: In Asset Search Results as well as Show/Edit Asset screens, we are planning to make it easier to see an asset's open cases, both active and inactive, as well as any pending service requests.
- Improved usability of the Price Code and Job Code fields: On the Edit Operations screen, we are improving the behavior of the drop down lists of codes, type-ahead search and entering values not on the lists.
